DevMountain (like all coding bootcamps currently) is not accredited by the Federal Government. Not being accredited has both pros and cons. Some of the pros include agility with our curriculum and course structure. The cons include not being able to apply government financial aid to our courses. Regarding outcomes, accreditation or certification plays a very small role in employers identifying the right talent for their teams. Our focus is on portfolios which are the best way for individuals to demonstrate their skills. Our obsession with practical skills and applying them to real world projects is a huge part in why DevMountain students have been so successful taking the step into the industry.
